Privacy Policy
How we handle information on this site.
Transpacific Bound operates transpacbound.com as an editorial travel publication. This policy describes what we collect today and how we use it. We aim to be straightforward—not bury you in legalese we do not mean.
What we collect today
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic: pages visited, general geography, device type. We do not use analytics to sell your personal information.
- Contact and newsletter forms. As of June 2026, these forms are not connected to a backend. Submitting them does not store or transmit your data. When we launch email collection, we will update this page before turning it on.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and reliability.
Cookies
Analytics may set cookies or use similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how some site features work.
What we do not do
- · Sell personal information to third-party marketers
- · Collect payment information on this site
- · Require an account to read editorial content
Third-party links
Our guides may link to airlines, hotels, or other sites. Their privacy practices are their own. Read their policies before you share information with them.
Changes
We will update this policy when our practices change—especially when newsletter or contact forms go live. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date below.
